SOHObiztube Board of Advisors

 SOHObiztube screen shot

Recently I was asked to serve on the advisory board of the “SOHO Enterprise” that consists of SOHOBizTube.com, Magazine SOHO a print publication, and the NAKED Biz Growth conference series.  I’ve accepted the position on the board for 3 reasons.

  1. I believe that Magazine SOHO, the first of the 3 entities is in a market with huge growth potential. Based in Milwaukee, but looking to grow outside of this area, the magazine has great local flavor with a lot of potential to spread the word and the wealth of Milwaukee’s new “creative culture”. A once old school, beer city is becoming a new and thriving hub for technology and creativity, a great combination.
  2. I need an outlet for my strategic thoughts on tech startups. My knowledge on how to build a community around a socially driven site has grown significantly over the last year and the SOHO Enterprise will allow me to strategically advice in that regard. As the 3 entities serve the same purpose, ‘to help growing startups’, I will be able to continue the personal goal of mine to meet, learn from and help startups.
  3. Last but not least, I believe in the team. Cd Vann, the founder of the SOHO Enterprise has the right attitude and the right goal to succeed. She’s not afraid to embrace changing technologies, nor is she deterred when she hears the word, “no”. She’s bootstrapped the magazine for 3 years and WILL make it and SOHObiztube succeed. I look forward to helping the team get there.
