Now THE DREAM IN ACTION.com: Free Amazon $ For The Best Dream In Action Story

Everyone dreams about what they would ‘ideally’ do with their lives. Everyone has ideas of how they could improve their life in order to live their dreams. Don’t you want more meaningful relationships, more social influence, and a thicker wallet? You and I will both will always be interested in how we can improve our professional situation, seek more adventure, and help those in need. Those interests and the processes leading to the fulfillment of them, are THE DREAM IN ACTION.

Recently, there has been a gradual shift on this blog. A month ago the official name of the blog changed from Ryan A Graves.com to THE DREAM IN ACTION.com.

This shift occurred because the site, as Ryan A Graves.com was lacking focus, and hitting a traffic ceiling. After consultation with many people behind dynamic, fast growing sites and brands, I’ve learned that it’s considerably more difficult to sell a person/name than an idea. Believe it or not, not everyone in the world cares about who “Ryan Graves” is, however, everyone is interested in “living the dream”.

Tim Ferriss sells the idea of a ’4-Hour Work Week’, Ramit Sethi professes ‘I Will Teach You To Be Rich’, and I will show you that ‘The Dream In Action’ is not only ideal, but very possible. I truly believe that anyone can make their dreams realities and I’ll use this blog to track my efforts in that direction and help you spark yours. This blog has evolved from “regurgitated TechCrunch” to disjointed logs of travel, economics, startup lessons, startup reviews, and personal project updates. Many of these topics and posts will remain on the blog but the theme of putting your dreams into action in order to live a more profitable, more profound, and more positive life, will remain at the core.

Contest: I encourage you to share ideas and interact in the community forums (coming soon!). To start out I’d love to hear any story you have that could encourage us to put The Dream In Action. The person who submits the best story about putting life dreams into action in everyday life will win a $25 gift card to Amazon.

Use comments to submit your story. Winner will be selected June 1st, 2009.

Im going to tell you about one of my dreams and how is slowly starting to be put in action and how winning those 25$ could help me keep that dream into motion.

I am someone with a huge imagination, i think myself as a dreamer and i like to see dreams a reality, one of those is to start making machinima (one example is halo 3) i was inspired by many groups out there making awesome machinima and started to write my own scripts, but lacked of everything, including an xbox360 and yeah, halo3..

not by luck but by making an effor and over 70 friends around the globe helped to make that happen, pwnedlife & i did win the contest from Miltownkid, now i have an xbox360 and halo 3 and this humble dream is starting to take shape, as casey said one one video "baby steps" :)

Now 25 dont make it happen but will put me even close to continue to keep the dream in action!

Now probably that's not the best story out there but is a real story and a real dream in action, but if you want to i can tell you about the ghost i saw when i was a kid :P

Hey Ryan,

We need to hang out. It appears that we share a very similar vision. :)

You call it "The Dream In Action" I call it "Pwning Life."

Actually... I think I'll blog about this instead of writing a comment. :)
