I just had a discussion today with another friend who is building an iPhone app from a very basic/common need. I think it's something thats overlooked in today's world of 100x mashups and break through applications. Consider the low hanging fruit. It can be very sweet.

I love how he declined multiple offers and made it all the way to 1 million daily views and a $28k sale! One of the best points of this story is that whether or not Cameron sold the widget, he had a very interesting personal project to talk about - which helped lead to future opportunities. That's awesome.
